Hyperboles

Hyperboles are basically exaggeration. Some hyperboles may sound or look like similes, but once you see or hear the exaggeration, its a hyperbole. Hyperboles are used everyday, mostly in jokes. For example, "Your house is so dirty, even the roaches moved out." Hyperboles and idioms are so far my favorite figurative language. They describe what you want to say in expressions and can be humorous.
